Terms of Service

Stonefox Web Co. designs and builds websites for small and local businesses in Ontario.

Projects are delivered as fixed-scope packages: Starter, Business and Premium. Each one is quoted individually, so the price you're given reflects the site you actually need.

Where a written quote is more specific than this page, the quote applies to that project.

Every project is quoted in writing before any work begins, and all amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD). The price you're quoted is the price you pay for the scope you're quoted.

A quote is valid for 14 days from the day we send it. After that we're happy to re-quote.

A 50% deposit books your build slot. The balance is due on your sign-off, before the site is published and handed over.

The deposit is fully refundable any time before kickoff begins. Once the build has started, the deposit is non-refundable.

Interac e-Transfer is our preferred payment method. Card payments can be made through a payment link, and card processing fees may apply.

Any change to the agreed scope is agreed in writing before the work continues, and may adjust the price.

Each package includes the number of review rounds stated in its quote. Additional rounds are quoted separately, so you know the cost before we start them.

HST is not currently applicable to our fees. If that changes, tax will be added as and when required by law.

If you cancel mid-build after work has started, the deposit is retained and any work beyond the deposit value is invoiced.

If the build hasn't started, your deposit is returned in full.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the text, images and information you provide about your business.

We never publish invented facts, reviews or figures. If we're unsure about a claim while writing your copy, we'll ask you before it goes live.

Once the project is paid in full, the finished website and its content are yours. Until the final payment is made, the work remains the property of Stonefox Web Co.

Our concept designs, page templates and internal tooling remain ours to reuse.

We build professional, mobile-first websites that are fast, clear and easy to use.

We can't guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads or sales.

Our liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
